This stone, which you may notice is in the shape of the state of Maine, is for my in-laws neighbor, Robert A. Taylor.
Affectionately known as Rat. He and his wife Marjorie are Mainers. We enjoyed fresh tomatoes and blueberries from his gardens.
Some of the best tomatoes I've even eaten!
Family names Southard.
Infant son died 1889. Love the puppy. (If you prefer to believe that it is a lamb, please feel free to do so.)
Albert Lynam, died 1880.
Family name Emery
Family name Clement
It looks to be a cozy place to rest.
The famous Buck headstone. The whole legend arose after the stain appeared. Buck was, by historical accounts, a very
good man, a boon to the community. But you just can't have a stone with a woman's leg on it and not start rumors! Legend has
it that a witch dances on his grave.
